Add to Event Log

This block writes an entry to the device's event log.

Configuration​

  • Event Items: the list of key/value pairs stored in the entry. Each item has a Key and a Value. Static values, variables, and settings are acceptable as values.

Entries are stored in the device's flash memory and can be viewed from the web dashboard hosted on the device. Each entry is timestamped, so the device needs a valid date and time; the block pulls in the date/time and SNTP features automatically.

Note

Keys and values cannot contain = or ,, as those characters separate the items in a stored entry.
