Temperature Control

Temperature control is critical across countless industries and applications, often serving as a core requirement for operational efficiency, product quality, and safety. From maintaining precise environmental conditions in laboratories and data centers to ensuring consistent product output in manufacturing lines, the ability to regulate temperature precisely is essential. Proper temperature control not only safeguards sensitive equipment and materials but also helps with legal compliance.

Temperature Control Methods with TPS Devices

Use an IR Tibbit

AppBlocks and TPS devices can control any IR device through IR Tibbits. Tibbit #26 in combination with Tibbit #27 or Cable Probe #04 can record and playback infrared commands, enabling TPS devices to control a wide range of devices, including air conditioning and cooling systems. Simply capture the IR signal from your temperature control device's remote, then have TPS replay it whenever pre-configured conditions are met. When paired with one of TPS’s temperature monitoring methods, this setup allows operators to build a fully automated temperature monitoring and control system using drag-and-drop logic in AppBlocks.

Use a Relay Tibbit

Tibbit #03-1

Controls: Relay.

Lots of temperature control devices can be controlled using relays. Relay Tibbits, such as #03, #06, #07, and #15, provide straightforward, reliable relay control directly from a TPS device, enabling seamless integration with a wide range of devices. By connecting a relay output to the control input of a temperature control system, TPS can effectively automate the regulation of temperature levels. When paired with one of TPS’s temperature monitoring methods, this setup allows operators to build a fully automated temperature monitoring and control system using drag-and-drop logic in AppBlocks.
