General
This section contains general information about the device, as well as configuration for several device features.
Options
- Standard LED patterns:
- Enable to use the default behavior for TPS (more details here).
- Disable to specify a custom behavior within your application. To customize this behavior, see LED Pattern block.
- Device Name: Changes your device's name
- Application Version: Sets your application's version number. For most use cases, it's not required to manually edit this value, as it's automatically updated by creating a snapshot.
- Automatic Interface Switching: Enables/disables the automatic switching of network interfaces.
- The priority is as follows:
- Ethernet
- Wi-Fi
- Mobile
- This setting should be disabled when the TPS is required to use a certain network interface, e.g. to send an SMS.
- This setting is also useful for debugging a system with multiple interfaces, as you can use the Ethernet connection for debugging and mobile/Wi-Fi for internet access.
- The priority is as follows:
- Time Zone: Ditto.
- Debug Print Output: Choose where to display debug messages.
- Console: This is the terminal within the AppBlocks Editor.
- Store in Logs: This allows you to read logs within AppBlocks Cloud.
- LCD Logging: This is the TPS's embedded LCD.
- Buzzer Frequency: This controls the frequency used by the TPS's Buzzer, a higher frequency emits a higher-pitched sound, a lower frequency emits a lower-pitched sound. The buzzer can be customized using this block.
- Latitude: Geograpic coordinate
- Longitude: Geographic coordinate
- Time Format: Either 12-hour or 24-hour
